For decades, the german Bernd Spiecker was a well-known art dealer before becoming a passionate light designer. Working with many international artists led to his first own art project P.H.A.S. "Please have a seat“.

Coloured light awakes emotions and everyone is curious about the feeling of sitting on light. The interaction of light and colours removes the objects from their conventional context and opens a new perception of the environment to the viewer. At the same time, light also stands for life and communication. And while a chair separates people, they find place together on benches and automatically get into conversation.

P.H.A.S. has already been seen at worldwide light festivals from Berlin to Jerusalem, Frankfurt, Lausanne and many others. But this concept has also found home as a communicative permanent installation in several metropoles of the world.
