PULSE is a large scale immersive audio visual installation exploring the perspectives of visual and auditory perception. A tightly synced and choreographed audio visual journey.

The structure consists of twelve giant hoops covered on all surfaces with a reflective mirrored chrome finish. Each hoop has two lines of individually addressable LED’s running around its inner circumference making up a total of 14,280 pixels within the entire structure. Each hoop is 4m (13ft) in diameter with the entire structure measuring 45m (150ft) in length.

PULSE is a 5 minute long performance comprising a tightly choreographed and fast paced audio visual journey created specifically for the installation. Accompanying this is an additional 20 min interim piece that has a more ambient contemplative feel.
